He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Vance and Betty Hall Vance; his siblings, Ronnie Vance, Jack Bostic, Ronnie Bostic and Gloria Humphreys; and his aunt Ruby Charlton.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Vance of Union, WV; his children, Chris Vance (Shannon) of Ronceverte, WV, Dusten Vance (Gracie Morgan) of Union, WV and Samantha Vance (James Reed) of Lindside, WV; his siblings, Grover W. Vance, Jr. (Becky) of Sinks Grove, WV and Donna Perkins (Jeff); his granddaughter Sadie Rose Vance; his daughter Susan Lane "MeMe" (Logan Crookshank) of Lindside, WV; his nieces and nephews, Angel Vance (DJ Harmon) of Sinks Grove, WV and Clayton Vance (Alisha) of Union, WV; his brother-in-law David Lane (Dana) of Lindside, WV; and his close friends, Jimmy Bennett (Jennifer) of Peterstown, WV and George Boggess II (Debbie) of Florida. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic regulations those attending the services are asked to social distance and wear a mask.
The Family suggests memorial donations be made to the Groves-Mann Funeral Home P.O. Box 212 Union, WV 24983 to help assist will funeral costs.
