He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Lee and Cassie Newhouse Ballard; his son Brandan "Bookie" Ballard; and his wife Tina Marie Ballard. He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Ballard, II of Newport News, VA and Brian Ballard (Sara) of Rainelle, WV; his grandson Adrian Ballard; his brothers, Noah Ballard of Richmond, VA, Jeff Ballard of Arkansas and Matthew Ballard of Richmond, VA; and his close friend Pam Fannin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
