He was predeceased by: his parents, B. F. Rhodes and Emma Jane "Mace" Rhodes; his daughter Marcella Rhodes; his granddaughter Kathryn Rhodes; his brother Douglas Wayne Rhodes; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Brazell and Eddie Bolyard.
He is survived by: his wife Lana Ruth Wolfe Rhodes; his children, Mariann R Plum (Allen) and Phillip Linn Rhodes (Teressa); his grandchildren, Allie Plum (Tori), Kristin Brewer (Andrew), Laura Ondo (Addison), Grace Schultz (Shawn) and Gus Rhodes; his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Jacob, Arabella, Allison, Easton, Collin, Abel, Aurora, Addilynn and Beatrice; and his siblings, Emma Jane Rhodes Brazaell of Lewisville, TX, Frances Anna Rhodes Bolyard, Velma Marcena Rhodes Cross (Donald) and Thomas Nelson Rhodes (Nina). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
