He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Harrison Metz and Geraldine Marie Metz (Riley); his children, Perry Curtis Metz, Jr. and Tanya Hlatky; and his nephew Virgil J. Metz.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Metz (Taylor); his children, Jordan Tyler Metz (Ashley), Scott Earl Vallies (Katherine), Billie Sue Metz (Micheal Gallagher) and Misty Dawn Metz (Cindy); his friend Missy Moats of Kingwood; and his brother Johnnie H. Metz of Tunnelton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
