With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucas Shannon of Tunnelton, West Virginia, born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on September 12, 2020 at the age of 22. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jerry Sr., Shirley Bolyard Layton and Foster E Shannon; his uncle Foster "Bill" Shannon; and his cousin Joshua Lee Layton.
He is survived by: his parents, Curtis Dale and Connie Sue Layton Shannon; his brother Tyler Shannon; his grandmother Helen Kay Grimm Shannon; his uncle Jerry Robert "Jay" Jr.; his aunt Carla Layton; his cousins, Samantha Powell, Anthony, Justin Shannon, Stacey, Andrew Shannon, Lori, Malik, Zander, Gracelynn Powell, Willow Layton, Aubrey Shannon and Foster Shannon; and also Gracie.
