She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lee and Virginia D Grimm (Kellar); her former husbands, Lewis Rager and Don Paul Strawser; her fiancé Charles Plum; her son-in-law Robert Knotts (Bob); and her sisters, Dorena Moats, Shirley Kitzmiller, Kay Shannon and Linda Rager.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Kay Thomas (Ronald), Tammy Sue Knotts (Eugene Johnson) and Tonya Marie Maxwell (Jamie); her grandchildren, Ronnie Thomas, Ron Knotts, Aaron Maxwell, Jessica Thomas, Paula Maxwell and Anna Maxwell; her great grandchildren, Xavior, Lilly, Zelda, Easton, Brantley and Dominic; her pet Chico; and her siblings, Jim Grimm (Shirley), Jerry Grimm (Bonnie), Walter Grimm (Joellyn) and Jackie Kelley (Pat). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bolyard Funeral Home & Cremation (79 Morgantown Ave, Newburg, WV 26410). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
