He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse T. Auvil, Sr. and Elizabeth R. Bolyard Auvil; and his sisters, Ethel Sigley, Mary Moats, Betty Teets and Dolly Griffith.
He is survived by: his brother Lee Auvil (Judy) of Tunnelton; his half-brother Carl Sypolt of Rowlesburg; and his sister Silva Teets of Brave, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
