It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Pifer (Tunnelton, West Virginia), born in Parsons, West Virginia, who passed away on April 5, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pifer and Minnie Guthrie Pifer; and his stepson John Miller. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Marie Miller; his stepsons, Allen Miller (Christina) of Bruceton Mills, Earl Miller of Kingwood and Brian Swacker of Parsons; his daughter Sandra Lee; and his siblings, Jack Pifer of Montrose, Mary Ann Sharp of Hambleton and Rose Miller of Parsons. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
