He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Cole and Pearl Powell; the mother of his children Nina Cole (Christopher); his sons, Ricky Cole, Franklin Cole and Terry Cole; his grandchildren, Larry Cole and Michelle Bolyard; his great grandchild Samuel Flint; his brother Pete Cole; his close friend Pamela Rhodes; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Chedester.
He is survived by: his children, Willard Edward Cole (Ruby), Maple Run, Larry Allen Cole, Judy Haskiell (Joe), Connie Sue Morris (Don), Alice Hunt (Ron), Grafton and Kathy Harrison (Ronnie); his daughters-in-law, Linda Cole and Beverly Cole-Barnett; his siblings, Gladys and Woody Cole; his pet Bella; his caregiver Tina Rager; and also Virgie Marsh. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
