He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph Corey and Virginia Alice Corey Vasquez (Michaux); his daughter Kathy J Phillips; and his sisters, Pearl Caudill, Marian Sloan and Helen Corey.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lou Corey (Phillips); his children, Christine Snyder, Richard Corey (Michele) and Victoria Calvert; his grandchildren, Colin Schwager, Jesse Brennan, Quinn Snyder and Bryce Bracken; and his sister Lilly May Brumley of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bolyard Funeral Home & Cremation (79 Morgantown Ave, Newburg, WV 26410). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West Virginia National Cemetery (42 Veterans Memorial Ln, Grafton, WV 26354).
