He was predeceased by: his parents, Alston Boggs and Marcella Groves; his sister Judy Carol Kesner; and his stepgrandson Cory Thomas Carr. He is survived by: his stepfather James Millard Groves; his wife Violet Ann Kesner; his children, Michael K. Snapp and Christina Snapp; his stepdaughters, Lori Carr and Amy Madigan; and his siblings, James Edward Groves, Melvin Paul Kesner, Irene Elizabeth Weber, Mildred Jean Colley and Joann Kniess. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
