She was predeceased by: her father James E. Abshire; her husband Timothy Spangler; her son Woodrow Gabriel "Woody" Spangler; and her stepfather Danny Owen. She is survived by: her mother Delores Hill Abshire Owen of Lerona, WV; her mother-in-law Betty Ellison of True, WV; her children, Jacob Spangler and Jessie Rodes (Joe) of True, WV; her close friend Ronnie McBride of Pipestem, WV; her sisters, Terri Abshire of Myrtle Beach, SC and Tammy Scarbrough (David) of Beckley, WV; her grandchildren, Hallie Rodes of True, WV and Ethan Rodes of Ft. Moore, GA; and her stepmother Linda Abshire of Bolt, WV. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lerona United Methodist Church (6731 Hinton Rd, Lerona, WV 25971). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
