He is survived by: his stepmother Edra Wills Adkins; his wife Margaret Epperly Adkins; his children, Eddie Adkins of True and Anita Hatcher (Chris) of Princeton; his grandsons, Bryan Hatcher and Shawn Hatcher of Princeton; and his siblings, Cleatis Adkins (Sue Ellen) of Hilldale, James Adkins of Hilldale, David Adkins (Julie) of Hilldale and Melda Phillips of Lerona. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
