With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maudie Virginia Small of Thorpe, West Virginia, born in Twin Branch, West Virginia, who passed away on November 1, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Turpin and Minnie Frances Mitchell Turpin; her husband Dennie Small; her son Dennis Small; her granddaughter Stephanie Harvey; and her siblings, James A. Turpin and Nellie Small.
She is survived by: her children, Herman Small of Gary, WV, Fred Small (Linda) of Princeton, WV, Jeff Small (Judy) of Gary, WV and Debbie Harvey (Skip) of Rock Creek, WV.; and her sister Betty Supanick. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, she requested donations be made to Thorpe Methodist Church, PO Box 400, Gary, WV 24836.
