He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Lawson and Bethel Knipp Lawson; his wife Leola Cochran Lawson; his brother Charles Lawson; and his granddaughter Leah Lawson.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Lawson of Pikeville, KY, Kathy Robinson (Joe) of Princeton, WV and Larry Lawson (Martha) of Pageton, WV; his grandson Michael Robinson (Autumn) of Kingsport, TN; his great grandchildren, Leighara Lawson and Tucker Robinson; his sisters, Garnett Faye Farmer and Bonnie Fowler; and his pets, Bruzetta and Susie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
