Knotts and Lora Knotts (Criss); his former wife Patricia Knotts (Melkus); his children, Lori Knotts (Bill) of Portland, Patrick Knotts (Sherri) of Bethpage, TN and Kristy Simmons (Curtis) of Lake Wylie, SC.; his grandchildren, Aleah Knotts, Olivia Simmons and Jaila Davis; his sister Patricia Sinsel (Jim) of Baltimore, MD.; his wife Norma Jean (Ray); his stepchildren, Jamey Ray, Jenni Ray and Katrina High (Otto); and his stepgrandchildren, Dakota Reedy, Eli Ray, Evan Hexom, Nick Hexom and Rory High.
