He was predeceased by: his parents, Conard Jackson and Opal Jackson (Wolford); his siblings, Charles Randell Jackson, Ken Martin and June Carol Jackson; and his granddaughter Ruth Ann Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Lynn Jackson of Thacker, WV; his daughter Beth Hunt (Thomas) of Delbarton, WV; his grandchildren, Jonna Grace Murphy, Sarah Elizabeth Murphy and Raelyn Maynard; his siblings, Ann Ethridge (Andrew) of North Carolina, Brenda Wolford of North Carolina, Jack Jackson of Matewan, WV and Larry Joe Wolford of Matewan, WV; and his aunts, Ocie "Tootsie" Smith of McCarr, KY and Ermealou Kennedy of Chapmanville, WV.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other beloved family members and friends.
