We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2024, at the age of 80, Michael Joseph Nasif Sr. of Terra Alta, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Michael Joseph departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Michael Joseph. Though Michael Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph James and Sarah M. Nasif (Aisis). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Nasif (McKee); his sons, Michael J. Nasif, Jr. (Susan) of Jackson, WI and Joseph J. Nasif (Andrea Miller); his siblings, Joseph Nasif (late Susan) of Lincoln, RI, John Nasif of North Providence, RI and Rosemary Guerin (Richard) of Cumberland, RI; and his grandchildren, Sarah and Nathan Nasif. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newman Funeral Homes (1100 Memorial Dr, Oakland, MD 21550). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
