He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce V. Thomas and Cora M. Sisler Thomas; his wife Frances Thomas; and his brother Kenneth Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Franny Thomas of Baltimore and Jim E. Thomas (Cheryl) of Kingwood; his sister Eva Jean Cramer (Chester); his grandchildren, Amanda Wilson, James Thomas Jr., Justin Thomas and Hannah Thomas; his great grandchildren, Haley Miller, Taylor Miller, Conner Wilson, Cullen Thomas, Kyira Thomas, Camdem Thomas, Lincoln Thomas and Charlotte Thomas; and his great great grandchild Lucas James Tacy.
