He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Pennington and Edith Roy Pennington; his stepmother Polly Pennington; and his pet Ginger. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Pennington; his daughter Robin (Scott Wilson) of Newton, Iowa; his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Bethany, Anneliese and Isaiah; and his brother Roy (Orpha Pennington) of Dryfork.
