It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Rae Lewis of Terra Alta, West Virginia, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Ray and Francis Freeland; her husband Howard Carl "Bear"; her sister Carolyn Johnson; and her niece Karen Durr.
She is survived by: her son Bill; her grandchildren, Anthony and Caitlin Hurley (Howard "Joey" Suess) of Terra Alta; her children, Carla Roth (Alan) of Eglon and Rodney Lewis of Bruceton Mills; her grandchildren, Darren, Emilie Roth, McKenzie and Brooklyn Lewis; her siblings, Ruth Groves (Kenny), Dortha Adams, Vikki Freeland, Arthur Freeland (Linda) and Charles Freeland (Marilyn); her sister-in-law Nadean Whitacre; and also Bill Lewis (Shelby).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Doris to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
