She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Marshall and Clarice Messenger Everly of Virginia; her husband Donald Cuppett of Cranesville, WV; and her sisters, June Frazee and Shirley Hardesty.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Fearer (Jim) of Terra Alta, Deborah Chase (Frank) of Morgantown, Cathy Shorter (Fred) of Princeton and Donald Cuppett, Jr. (Hisako) of New York City; her grandchildren, Todd Fearer, Koki Watanabe Cuppett, Matthew Chase, Jonathan Shorter, Ryan Shorter, Melissa Snow, Elisha Cuppett Doss, Luli Watanabe Cuppett, Audrey Hime and Emilee Huffman; and her brother Ronald Everly of Fort Myers, FL. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
