With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rich Ellington of Teays, West Virginia, who passed away on July 18, 2022 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rich Ellington to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his stepfathers, John O'Dell and William Ellington; and his father Richard Burdette. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his sons, Ian of Hurlburt Field, FL and Andy (Ciearra); his grandchildren, Kaison and Cade of Culloden; his mother Clarise O'Dell; his siblings, Belinda Walker (George), Tim (Susan), Sheri Brown (Greg) and Fred (Ivon); his father-in-law Kenneth Phillips (Janet); and his brother-in-law Scott Phillips (Martha). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests any donations be made to the Mator's Kids Foundation, the Great Teays Soccer Club, or the First Baptist Church of Nitro.
