He is survived by : his daughters, Toni Renee Mathis (Willie) and Tamara Ann Simpkins (Corey Fields); his siblings, Paul Mack Simpkins, Ted Simpkins (Sheila), Vicky Simpkins-Estep (Ike), Lottie Simpkins Mathias (Tommy), Linda Gail Cook (Bo) and Marlene Burgraff (Floyd); his grandchildren, Nathaniel Chaise Slone (Amanda), Alexis Paige Slone, Allie Brooke Slone, Ryan Dillon Simpkins and Caleb Hunter Simpkins; his great grandchildren, Billy Nathaniel Lee Slone and Waylon Isaiah Slone; and his close friend Diane Taylor Murphy.
