She was predeceased by: her mother Aline Preece (James Smith) of Verdunville, WV.; her son Mitchell Smith; her siblings, Patrick Butch Preece and Patty Preece; her stepbrother Kevin Akers; and her daughter-in-law Brandi Smith.

She is survived by: her father Naaman Preece (Jack) of Verdunville, WV.; her granddaughters, Elisha Smith and Jeannette Smith; her sister Sheila Preece-Cain (Joe); her nephew Brandon Pritchard (Courtney); and her nieces, Kala Ocampo (Jose) and Diana Cross (Steven).
