It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip Balentine of Switzer, West Virginia, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Everett and Georgia Balentine; his siblings, Laura Bell Spence (Charles), Florance Addair (Robert), Sue Balentine, Rene Balentine, Rush Balentine (Wanda), Wilburn Balentine, Jeff Balentine and Paul Balentine; and his sister-in-law Polly Balentine.
He is survived by: his wife Delores "Dee" Balentine of Switzer; his daughters, Kimberly Sammons (Lonnie) of McConnell and Michelle Gore (Shane) of Justice Addition; his grandchildren, Justin Sammons (Loren), Cameron Sammons, Madison Trent, Shayna Gore, Gracie Balentine, Branson Gore, Lainey Trent, Rachel Balentine, Mason and Myles Sammons; his siblings, Earl Balentine (Joyce) and Faye Tacket (Dale); and his sister-in-law Melba Balentine. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family ask that everyone follow CDC guidelines by wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.
