She is survived by : her children, Ronnie Deskins (Sharon) of Omar, WV, James Carl Deskins (Kim) of Switzer, WV, Teresa Swims (Greenway Baisden) of Rossmore, WV and Dorothy "Dottie" Deskins of Rossmore, WV; her brother Bill Privett (Susie) of Rossmore, WV; her grandchildren, Amanda Mitchell (Christopher) of Rossmore, WV, Stephanie Deskins of Omar, WV, Melissa Deskins of Switzer, WV, Chris Swims (Mindy) of Verdunville, WV and David Deskins of Whitesville, WV; her great grandchildren, Shay Mitchell, Zachary Mitchell, Arabella Swims and Malachi Swims; and her niece Brenda Jeffreys of Alabama.
