He was predeceased by: his father Franklin D. Spear; and his brother Craig Allen Spears. He is survived by: his close friend Brenda Spears (Roach) of Switzer, WV; his mother Etta Spears (Wright); his siblings, David Spears of Kokomo, Phil Spears (Candie) of Sweetwater, Tennessee and Heather Gurganus (Jerry) of Roanoke, Virginia; and his close friend Theresa Mayse (Doug) of Tennessee.
