He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Toney and Ailiene Toney (Bradley); his sisters, Wendy Toney, Delilah Toney and Zenia Mathis; and his niece Jamie Lynn Martin.

He is survived by : his wife Virginia "Jenny" Toney; his children, David Ray Toney (Mary Jane) and Jackie Lynn Franklin (Butch); his siblings, Cameron "Banjer" Toney (Tiffany) and Reva "Jez" Martin (Johnny); and his grandchildren, Nikki Rodighiero and David Toney. He is also survived by friends, nieces, and nephews.
