He is survived by: his wife Jean Herndon (Damron) of Switzer, WV; his sons, Danny Jr. Herndon (Julie) of Colorado, Robert Herndon (Nancy) of South Carolina, Timothy Herndon (April) of South Carolina, Michael Herndon (Cindy) of Switzer, WV and Christopher Herndon (Melissa) of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Zachary (Heather), Tiffany, Brandon, Joshua (Julianna), Kia (Nick), Erik (Fallon), Staci (Shane), Brittany, Sean and Tyler (Nikki); his great grandchildren, Jace, Bella, Arianna, Becca, Spencer, Madi, Felix, Sawyer, Maddox, Evie, Joshua Jr., Lilly, Luna and Emrie; and his sister Betty Ramey.
