It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buford Tackett (Switzer, West Virginia), born in Logan, West Virginia, who passed away on February 15, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar Tackett and Edith Tackett (Baisden); his son Mark Tackett (Michelle); his siblings, Shirley Tackett, Barbra Smith, Hershel Tackett (Bucky) and David Tackett; and his close friend Lynn Johnson.
He is survived by : his children, Lisa Meade (Wallace) of Logan, W. V and Brian Tackett (Catherine) of Obetz, Ohio; his daughter-in-law Michelle Tackett (Ward); his grandchildren, Justin Tackett (Andrea), Joshua Tackett (Kaylin), Tyler Tackett, Cassidy Abshire, Hannah Tackett, Natalie Tackett, Ryan Tackett, Morgan Ward (Samuel), Jenna Meade (Tyler Adkins) and Amanda Mullins (Eugene); his great grandchildren, Kynlie Tackett, Cooper Tackett, Alivia Johnson and Emilee Mullins; his close friends, Pastor Elbert and Francis Solomon; and his wife Leona Faye Tackett (Balentine). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
