He was predeceased by: his mother Carol Utt Hamric; and his brother Ronnie Utt. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Skidmore Utt; his stepfather Lee "Buck" Hamric of Martinsburg; his grandchildren, Clayton Todd Alan "Buddy" Utt, Alexis DeHaven and Landon DeHaven; his nieces and nephews, Tyler Kidwell, LeAnn Utt, Jessie Cross and Jeffrey Chaffins (Saria); his great-nephew Gabriel; his siblings-in-law, Ellen Utt, AnnMarie Chaffins (Tommy) and Walter Skidmore (Tamara); and his parents-in-law, Harley and Mary Skidmore.
