He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Utt Chaffins; his children, Thomas Chaffins, Jr (AnnMarie) of Martinsburg, WV, Jerry Weese (Tina) and Christina Dean (Emery) of Sutton; and his grandchildren, Tommy Johnson, Brian Johnson, Jeffrey Chaffins, Heaven Dean and Emery Dean, Jr..
