With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Louise Spaur Shaw of Sutton, West Virginia, born in Burnsville, West Virginia, who passed away on March 21, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Anthony Spaur; her husband Grant Shaw, Jr.; her sons, Jackie Bruce Shaw and Jeffrey Wayne Shaw; and her siblings, Arley, Harley Spaur, William Spaur, Kenneth Spaur, Helen Spaur Clifton, Emma Spaur Wilson and Wilma Spaur Sage.
She is survived by: her sons, William Anthony "Tony" Shaw (Peggy E.) of Delaware and Michael "Mike" Shaw (Peggy S.) of Summersville; her daughter-in-law Rebecca Edgar Shaw of Sutton; and her sisters, Dorothy Wood of Birch River and Norma Harrison (Bill) of New Castle, Delaware. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
