He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Marshall Barron and Ruth Estella Mills Barron; his brother Glenn Barron; and his stepfather Larry Swope. He is survived by: his wife Louise Jenkins Barron; his children, Kim Athey (Lee) of Kearneysville and Kevin Barron (Laurie) of Bunker Hill; his grandchildren, Kyle and Carly Athey; and his nephew Christopher Barron. He is also survived by many cousins and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association or to the Lung Cancer Association.
