It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard S. Walker Sr. of Summit Point, West Virginia, born in Wardensville, West Virginia, who passed away on May 4, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Tross, Jr. and Rosa Walker Tross; the mother of his children Ollie Walker; and his sister Edna Dokes. He is survived by: his children, Wanda Walker of Berryville, VA, Sandra Hutchinson of Winchester, VA and Richard S. Walker, Jr. of Martinsburg, WV; his stepsons, David F. Williams of Cumberland, MD, James of Summit Point, WV and Donnel Alsberry of Summit Point, WV; his sisters, Elaine Poston of Winchester, VA, Esther Worthy of Harrisonburg, VA, Rosa Clark of Martinsburg, WV and Mary Dorsey of Ocala, FL; and his friend Brenda Walker. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren & multiple great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID concerns the funeral service will be privately held for just the family.
