He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Edward and Alma Fletcher Plummer; and his siblings, Ammie Belden, Vida Giddings, Mary Lou Plummer and Roby Wilson Plummer.
He is survived by: his sisters, Agnes Green of Erbacon, Frankie Long of Camden, Glenna Schrock of Oakland and Roberta Koenig of Baltimore, Maryland.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.
