He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Archie" McCormick and Verda Tackett McCormick; and his brothers, Kevin Brent McCormick and Allen Keith McCormick. He is survived by: his children, Davey Joe McCormick, Brian McCormick (Lana), Crystal Black and Ronnie Clifton McCormick; his grandchildren, Chase and Skylar; and his siblings, Carletha Allen (Frankie), Eric McCormick (Pam), Ray McCormick, Ramona Cobb (Curtis), Kathy Green (Paul) and Mark McCormick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sumerco Church of God (3741 Midway Rd, Yawkey, WV 25573). A burial will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery (130 Academy Dr, Dunbar, WV 25064).
