We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2022, at the age of 85, Joyce Thelma Darnell of Sugar Grove, West Virginia, born in Laytonsville, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Fraley and Marion Madge Fraley (Royer); her son Warren "Brad" Darnell; her foster sister Ginger Pontlitz; and her sister Julia Fraley.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa D. Jamison (Michael) of Moyers, WV, Alicia Head (Jason) of Mooresville, NC and David Darnell (Naomi) of New Jersey; her daughter-in-law Emma Teodosio of Potomac; and her grandchildren, Brayden Glenn Head, Elizabeth Grace Head, James Lyle Darnell and David Conway Darnell Jr..
