She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottis Poling and Anna Poling (Rosier); her husband Melvin G. McNear; her son Ricky Dwayne McNear; and her sisters, Hazel Poling Knotts and Hester Marie Poling.
She is survived by: her sisters, Patsy Poling Lyons of Elkins and Bobbie Poling Farley of Elkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
