With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Stephen Starkey of Stonewood, West Virginia, born in Shinnston, West Virginia, who passed away on August 19, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Starkey and Doris Anderson Starkey; his sisters, Mary Lou Sickle and Carol Dubash; and his brother-in-law Robert Christafore.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Christafore Starkey; his son Justin Mark Starkey of Shinnston; his sister Kay Efaw (Tom) of Fairmont; his siblings-in-law, Paul Christafore of Clarksburg, David Christafore (Denise) of Stonewood and Glenna Christafore of Wheeling; his cousin Pam Poling; and his friend Frank Spadafore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
