She was predeceased by: her father Filmore Worth Moneypenny (Walkie); and her husband Virgil Ferguson. She is survived by: her mother Grace Mason; her children, Myra Sandy (Denzil) of Stonewood and Joe Thornton; her daughter-in-law Yvonne Taylor of Ravenna, OH; her stepchildren, Larry, Gary, Jimmy DeLong and Christine Riddle; her sisters, Wanda Pippen and Rita Ross; and her granddaughter Leanda Kay Sandy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Burnside Funeral Home (607 S Virginia Ave, Bridgeport, WV 26330). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
