He was predeceased by: his parent Claude Snyder; and his siblings, Betty Lee Snyder, Twila Marie Allman, Rita Mae McClung and Paul C. Snyder.
He is survived by: his parent Wyomia Childers Snyder; his wife Sylvia Black Snyder; his son James Gregory Snyder (Carol Diane) of Cleveland, OH; his grandchildren, Nicholas Thornhill (Maria) of Daytona, FL and James Wesley Snyder of Cleveland, OH; his great grandchild Brandice Thornhill of Daytona, FL; and his sister-in-law Patty Snyder of Bridgeport.
