With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Larry Carpenter Jr. of Stonewood, West Virginia, born in Garfield, New Jersey, who passed away on September 10, 2022 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Larry Carpenter, Sr. and Thelma Louise Swartz Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Desiree McElwayne Carpenter; his son James "Bub" Carpenter, III (Alana Cosenza); his stepdaughter Amber; his grandson Aaron McElwayne; his brother John Carpenter, Sr. (Tina); his nieces and nephews, John and Paige; his sister Rebecca Carpenter Chipps of Elkins; and his nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Annie, Ashley, Carl and Misty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
