He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Mills, Sr. and Hester Marie Mills (McKinney); his daughter Tonya Ann Mills; and his sister-in-law Lynn Mills. He is survived by: his wife Susie J. Mills (Foley); his daughters, Kimberly Graham (Marty) and Amanda Mills (Kevin Reed); his grandchildren, Ryan and Megan Graham; his great grandchildren, Rylan, Jaxson, Ellie and Ryker; and his brothers, Eddie Mills and Steven Mills (Melina). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the John H. McKinney Cemetery.
