He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Monroe Ansel and Iris Gertrude Ansel (Hamilton); and his sister Sally Ansel. He is survived by: his wife Eva L. Ansel (Shreve) of Springfield; his son David W. Ansel (Bobbie) of Springfield; his sisters, Elizabeth Morgan of Romney, Rebecca Poland (Neil) of Romney, Linda Mongold of Springfield and Nannie Ansel of Fort Ashby; and his pet Bobo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, his bus kids.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shaffer Funeral Home (230 E Main St, Romney, WV 26757). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
