It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Anne Rookstool of Spring Dale, West Virginia, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Martha Anne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Martha Anne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cyrus and Maybelle Parker; and her husband John Francis Rookstool. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Harris, Linda Hicks (William), Sharon Meadows (Roger) of Spring Dale, Jeremy Rookstool (Brenda Lattz) of Hernando, FL and John Gregory "Greg" Rookstool (Jessica) of Spring Dale. She is also survived by four grandchildren and one step-grandchild, three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Peyton Hospice House of Lewisburg.
