As Roger departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Roger may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Roger leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Adkins and Marie Woods Adkins; and his brother Tim Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Adkins; his sons, Roger Dale Adkins, II of Ravenswood, W. Va and Mark Lindsey Adkins of Spencer; his stepchildren, Brady Allen Sommerville of Spencer and Stephanie Marie Hunt of Ravenswood; and his brothers, Fred Adkins of Elkview, W. Va and Sonny Rucker of Clendenin. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
