He was predeceased by: his parent Ray Wiant; his wife Betty Jean Wiant; his son Ronald "Ronnie" Wiant; and his brother-in-law Carry J. Reed. He is survived by: his parent Katrina Powell Wiant; his sisters, Clara Everett of Vienna and Sheila Reed of Parkersburg; his nieces, Carrie Smith (Darren) and Katrina Reed; his nephew Robin Reed (Beth); his great-nieces, Kristen Cullum (Loren), Mackenzie Reed and Kailey Reed; and his nephew Zack Hively.
