He is survived by: his wife Danielle M. Deel Carter; his parents, Carla Hicks and Justin Hicks; his sister Clarissa; his brother-in-law Scott Davis of Leicester, N. C.; his niece Kaitlyn; and his grandmother Jean Marie Tidd. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
